Medal commemorating the Dutch East India Company Centenary, 1702. Obverse: A woman crowned, seated, a wreathed sword in her right hand, her left arm resting on a pedestal, the arms of Holland on a column behind& Co.rnucopias emptying (left and right), a tortoise under her foot. Reverse: An antique ship under a single sail passing the columns of Hercules (left) towards the rising sun.
